First female Deputy Speaker in Lagos, Toun Adediran, is dead
The death has been announced of the first female Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Adetoun Adediran.
Adediran who died early on Wednesday, January 5, after a brief illness, served as the Deputy Speaker between 1999 and 2003.
She has held many political offices including, Women Leader of the Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
She was reported to have been sick for just two days before her death.
